Meet Artin and Satrap—the mother-son duo raising the bar for tutoring.

We are a mother-and-son duo who started StudyBuddy Canada after realizing that our tutoring experiences were falling short of what students truly needed.

Satrap brought a strong academic foundation to teaching, having earned her engineering degree from Sharif University of Technology, widely regarded as Iran's most prestigious technical university. When Artin's own tutoring experiences proved inadequate, she began tutoring him in math herself. His grades improved—and his friends noticed. Before long, they were naturally coming to Satrap for help too. That word-of-mouth growth became her math tutoring business, Mrs. Math Tutor.

When Artin went to university to study business, he helped Satrap expand beyond math, support more subjects, and reach more students. StudyBuddy grew from the same belief that started it all: every child deserves an exceptional, individual learning experience.
