Meet Satrap and Artin—the mother-son duo raising the bar for tutoring.

Satrap’s journey into tutoring started when Artin first began school. She started working with him on math at home. After all, with an engineering degree from Sharif University, the highest-ranked university in Iran, it’s fair to say she knew a thing or two about math. Soon, some of Artin’s friends began coming to her for help too. What started casually grew into Mrs. Math Tutor, and as Satrap began telling more parents at the school, word of mouth spread and her student base continued to grow.

Years later, while studying business at university, Artin began helping Satrap grow what she had built. Together, they expanded beyond math, added support across more subjects, and reached more students. That evolution became Study Buddy, built on the same belief that started it all: every student deserves personalized support, exceptional teaching, and a learning experience designed around them.
